Wadebridge Library has lots for the community to get stuck into this autumn...
Remember, remember...to keep an eye out for local wildlife this November. Link your gardens with ‘Hedgehog Highways’– hedgehogs roam up to two miles each night! Frame 13 x 13cm (5 x 5”) gaps in your fences and walls to allow them to forage for food and meet mates. And if you know someone who would love one as a gift, simply pop into the Library to donate a tin of cat or dog food and receive your free Highway from Hedgehogs R Us Highway Project. All donations go to Prickles and Paws Hedgehog Rescue.
Newspaper subscriptions can be expensive and Borrowbox have been increasing the amount of magazine and newspaper content available. The library has added local newspapers to Borrowbox and, more recently, the i newspaper, meaning you can access your favourite newspapers whenever you want!
If you want some healthy meal inspiration for the colder months, drop into Wadebridge Library, where you can get some ideas for recipes on a budget. Eating well can help to prevent, and aid recovery from illness, while eating regular hot meals will keep your energy levels up and drinking hot drinks will help you to feel warmer for longer.
